PMI manufactures analytical instruments for measurement of pore characteristics of fuel cell, battery separators, electrodes, GDL, dielectrics and related materials in new energy research. Our instruments are used in areas of new energy materials from concept theoretical prediction through synthesis and characterization to new functionalities, improved properties and enhanced performance. Typical areas where PMI instruments are used include but not limited to solar materials (PV, photocatalysts etc.), thermoelectrics and phase change materials, hydrogen and clean fuel storage materials, batteries (e.g. lithium ion, sodium ion, lithium-air, lithium-sulfur), fuel cell materials and supercapacitors.
